Does "Marijuana" have medical value

Marijuana has therapeutic properties that derive from the cannibis plant, the stalk consists of fibre and pulp and is high in nutritional seed oil.

Many of us may think that Marijuana in its natural form is healthy but in actual fact short and long term use can have long lasting effects even in its natural form. Short term effects include memeory loss, distored perception, problem thinking, loss of motor vehicle skills, decrease in muscle strengh and an increase heart rate and anxiety.

According to the National Institute of Health it has been reported that an individual who smokes five joints a week may be taking as much cancer causing chemicals as someone who smokes one full pack of cigarettes a day.

Marijuana contains more then 400 chemicals. Smoking one marijuana joint deposits four times the amount of tar onto your lungs then a filtered tabacco cigarette. So in actual fact we are slowly killing ourselves everytime we feel like having a bit of fun or experimenting.

Reports also convey that the risk of a heart attack is five times higher then usual in the hour after smoking marijuana. Although we might think that it takes as much as 1500 pounds in 15 minutes to induce death, marijuana is a dangerous substance.

There is no safe way of using marijuana and many may believe that it have medical value but the cons outweigh the pros and no study has reported that marijuana is a vital substance that can cure diseases for a long period of time.

So if you decide to take a puff in future, be aware of the risks involved as Marijuana has no medical value, it is simply a getaway drug.

  1. Very interesting facts that you have brought to our attention. I totally despise drugs as it is ruining our future generations. They have so much possibilities and opportunities but they choose to through it way on something that gives you a high, which only lasts for a hours. Life should be about the natural highs of success and not of highs from a chemical plant, which may kill you in the end.

  2. Many people do associate drugs with medical value but in the end they are only fooling themselves.
Some people look for excuses to use drugs and do not take the risks or life factors that it can affect.
